Its certainly a possibility, this boat could be redesigned with a VDR running surface. I went with a more classic running surface for this one.

With 300 hp she should hit 40 knots - AT A FULL LOAD, 5200 lbs. A typical load of 1,000+ lbs less and I expect 55+ mph. 35 mph cruise is what Im looking for.
