Spent a few years in lots of phone calls talking in depth to Rod(Aka Floorboy) when he was just beginning his search for a new boat.

He was going through some difficult times with a family member over the present boat he had with them.He knew my fanatical love of my SeaCraft,as we were both active on another site, where I bored the members with pictures of my restoration.
He needed a new boat, and after my preachingings,I like to think I was responsible for him ultimately buying a SeaCraft.

From the pictures he sent me and the conversations we had I always felt that he did nice work.He finally settled on a Seacraft after I told him there was nothing else like them in a 23' platform.
The work he did on the trailer alone was very Gucchi as verified by mr Gucchi himself(Capt Chuck.)

From what Rod told me,he bought the boat from an older gentleman who was the original owner and it had been only used in fresh water and stored inside.
If I lived within a reasonable distance of this boat I would have it at the top of my list to buy.
I remember the road trip that he and Saugeye took from Minnesota to Massachusetts to pick up another Seacraft scepter for Saugeye. Now That's! a testimony for a great boat.

I spent so much time on the phone with Rod that I felt like he was a great friend, and that I knew him forever.I was saddened when I heard of his passing. We had Salmon fishing in common and he would tell me about his forays to other states in search of Walleyes. I miss our conversations, they were always good,He had a great sense of humor.

You can see some of his work on the message board "Lets see your rig" over at www.glangler.com.
