If you can get a recent engine print out with hours and time spent at different RPMs that would help people get a number for the engine. As far as the rest of it, I'd find out how old that tank is, if the deck or transom were ever replaced and if so, when and what material was used. Those are the basics to get some ball park numbers flowing for you. If he's a charter guy there's probably close to a thousand hours on the engine depending on location. If he just uses it in the weekend that's a different story. I would not shy away from an 84 hull. Granted it's not a potter but those hulls were still built pretty strong from what I hear. Is there a trailer included in the deal?
