I have seen pictures of 23's with twin 225's and twin 250's and the owners tend to say that after 65 they get scary as hell. The one guy with twin opti 225s said he got his up to 68 and that was with 8 people on board. He also said that with just him he never got passed 63. The weight kept it in the water and kept it from walking all over the place. You will never go safely over 70 in this hull with out major modifications. A motor like this would work good for an half throttle cruse of 60 plus but past that the top end would be wasted. Now from stop to 60 with the handles dropped would be one hell of an ride.

I think kmoose actually had twin 250s on his and he may can give you some actual experience. Im just going off what I have been told.
