So Im really excited to have feedback and comments on the boat. Been just about 2 months that I haven't really accomplished any major work to it. Since season is over here in Florida and fishing around the corner I'm amped to get this finished, worked really got to me and the fiberglass guy kept calling out on me so I lost interest in completing it.
One question I have is I'm planning on having thru hull scuppers on the outside edge of the hull, not the transom. I figured I could put trim tabs on where closed off the old transom scuppers. Would that be a good idea?
Ive researched a company in Florida called Gemlux and they have scuppers with a duck bill end to it. Its very big though, believe its 1.5". The idea was to raise the scupper level by 2 inches from original spot. Not planning on doing a deck drain, sticking to the vertical scupper thru hull fitting.
