I had the same surgery 15 years ago except I had cages vs rods. My recoup was 10 months. I would be leary, considering your previous surgeries coupled with your current diagnosis, to even think about 3ft chops and possible higher conditions, Jarring my spine would be the last thing I would want too take a chance on.
