I know you're right Chuck, but you know how it is, spend the winter healing, sitting in the house watching the sun rise then watching it get dark day after day week after week hoping that Ill be able to get out and fish in the spring.
The only good thing was that we had zero snow and Temps actually In the sixties in january and february, Ive never seen a winter like this in Mass.We could have boated open water most of the winter.
The Doc told me outright that it would be anywhere from 8-12 weeks just to heal enough to do light duty stuff.
I was feeling great a few weeks ago, then I bent over to pick up a piece of paper and "Ouch" been in nasty pain since.
Called the doctor and he explained again that the healing can take a considerable amount of time and even though I may feel great the risk is too great to perform some activities.
Hopefully we'll get lucky and have a few weeks of flat water.
Its not till the last week of may and first week of june so I still have another 6 weeks to heal a bit more..Thanks for sharing your experience.
