what are you doing with 10" or 10.5" deep swivels? those are for bent butt 80 or 130 class rods around here, and that means around here Bluefin tuna. i have qty 4 of 10 or 10.5 inchers. i as well use extenders in them for those days running shorter bent butts 50 class reels/rods. i dont have nor want any angle of the dangle on these swivels, i want bent butts straight up (for the butts). that depth implies big rods, big forces. better make sure you take a test like i did, crank the reel to 40-50lbs drag send a buddy after 2-6 beers running at 90 degrees to the boat fast as he can like a tuna at 40mph, and see about how much flex you have, i thru bolted my deep swivels from outside hull thru inner liner with an optional braces meant for non gunnel mounting on vertical surfaces. used plastic washers on outside, all 303 stainless screws and bolts, locknuts. guys around here have ripped boat sides off, our boats are not downeasters and the flex is not meant to be in that direction. just sayin.

if your not using 80 or 130 class bent butts why use a 10 or 10.5" deep swivel? and why have a 10" swivel at an angle? curious...not what we do around here at all. i have other swivels for the angles, but they are not 10'ers
