Negative on the starter removal....

Get your self a can of WD-40 Easy reach

Remove the fly wheel shroud cover and spray away...

Cycle the starter with the kill switch clip removed (if equipt) or spark plugs out..

Done deal...

The bendix is just sticking and cannot fully engage the flywheel...

Had to do my old 75 HP Johnson every couple of years.
