Im not fond of roller trailers even tho they work good when set up correctly. Just to many parts to service and replace. To easy just to slap a set of bunks on one.
I would set the boards up on the middle panels tight to the first step so it will center the boat when driven on. The angle should match the angle of the hull bottom so it makes full contact. I would run the boards up about 3/4's of the boat if they will be on brackets and turned the flat ways but if stood up on end and cut on an angle I would maybe go half way and do a set to hold the bow up. Look at the trailer in Captain chucks picture he posted a days ago in a post about trailer bunk contact.
