Denny,
Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. The stories you've shared over the years have given a lot of us a sense of the man's character and conviction. I'm pretty sure some of these tales led a few of us on our seemingly endless quests to find the holy grail - our own Seacraft 21s.

I listened to the podcasts you sent me and read letters he'd written to various editors and was effortlessly amused. Indeed he was a character and I imagine if I had a chance to share an hour chatting with him, I'd have shut up and listened and said "Oh, wow," a lot.

As FLexpat mentioned it appears Bob lived a life to the fullest. It sounds from Richard's note that his family is at peace with that.
