I agree with Gilley . . . the 20' hull was designed in the mid 60's for motors of 260-300 lbs. When you exceed that, it's hard to get it to plane at 12 mph or ride as well as those boats originally did! Your 140 is already over 400 lbs, which is about the practical limit for acceptable ride and handling on that hull unless you've moved the console, gas tank and batteries forward. If you want more power and mid-range torque with low noise, similar weight and slightly higher fuel burn consider the G1 E-Tec 150/175!
