According to the tax collector here in Okaloosa County, Florida, the requirement for an original-type power-plant only refers to I/O or inboard vessels, and does not apply to vessels originally manufactured to use outboard motors, because outboards are not manufactured with a power-plant; Those are added later by the dealer.

In other words, if you converted from inboard or I/O to outboard, you're out of luck. If you converted from gas to diesel or vice versa, same thing.

I paid a little less than $10 for two years of registration.
