If you are not racing, want twins and are running way offshore think about a pair of 25" 90 E-tec's. If you get McGillicutty or Ken Reeves (Prop Gods in Sarasota) to match your wheels, I think they can get you 35 mph and the little "John Deere" 90 E-techs will not burn more than 20 gallons a day each. The 90's are not available in counter-rotating, but with hydraulic steering that has become much less of an issue. Seems weird but you would have two 13-3/4" diameter disks shoving you forward rather than one 19" diameter disk - more surface, less "high" speed with two bullets in the water but more "digging" in the direction they are pointed. The three year service interval helps with the cost of operating twins. My 2 Cents.
