This boat started out as my single-guy, fishing, get-to-the-beach vessel - then the wife came - followed by kids. She has slowly transformed into a family boat fully equipped with kids fishing poles, boogie boards, beach chairs, roll-up table, a weber BBQ ! But, at around this time of the year, I strip her down - and oila!, she's back to my lean and mean fishing machine ! The boat must lighten up 200 lbs !
FYI - The best accessory I put on, to keep the wife happy, was (2) heavy duty Garelick deck chairs… They are stable, comfy and fold up pretty tightly. Again - gone now that the weather is getting colder. Time for the 30 gallon live well to come out !
After all that, if I did find a boat that rode as well, drifted as well, was built as well, a little more wiggle room - with an O/B, I might consider it. Call it a mid-age crisis, but a younger girl sounds appealing - WAIT ? What am I talking about
