Raised the transom with the rebuild to 30" (thanks kmoose!). 30 inch shaft is set in the middle setting 2.5" from top of the transom. Tried to get fancy with the trim and trim tabs and got cavitation at about 15 percent tilt once this weekend. trim tabs flat I got close to 20 percent without cavitation. Its a Sceptre so it is a double D in the bow with the tower....
