Water Rat - that was a very helpful link - there was a pix that showed me what I was looking for. I am surprised the only thing holding the liner to the hull is potter putty
9 and as you mentioned, the hull: liner and the rubrail.
After years of use, that putty has to start to fail. For example, the putty at that 6" liner:topside seam on my boat is not holding anything - it acts more like a spacer than anything.
Is there anyone who thinks it's a bad idea to glass that seam up ? To make the topside and liner - 'one' at that 6" high spot.
