Todd Jones has side scuppers on his boat.. they are molded fiberglass if I recall. Lookup Capttodd on here I think I posted some pics of his boat.. I like them but the draw back that I could see was backing down.. I always keep my stern to to wind.. it's easier for me to hold up on a wreck... But that is just me.. his are about 8-10" long... Use a piece of PVC and wrap it in glass then cut off or make a mold out of PVC built a 1 piece with flanges that are glassed in.. but what ever the case
I would make flaps to keep water out...
