I guess I'm curious about both scenarios.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe I saw in one of your videos, at about 3000 rpm you are cruising at about 30 mph. I'm doing about 18 mph at 3000 with a 327 chev and mercruiser II drive. I can get it down to 16 at about 2800. It falls off plane below that. I think Connor can get his rig down to 14 mph which is awesome. Just curious what you can dial her down to.
I'm sure trim tabs will make a difference too. Be sure to look up Blue Heron's restore thread if you haven't done so. He made some killer extensions for his tabs out of fiberglass.
