Thanks
The 88`s were made in Sarasota by the crew of SC industries. I have an`89 20 and the lay up is clean and well done. I think many things come into play. Temps here in summer mean
you really have to move. Mine was made in November which is great temp wise here.

The happiness and competence of the crew. The age of resins and MEK. The supervision
of the crew and quality control. Heck the boat is close to 30 years old and the deck, cap, and transom are sealed and solid.

I was lucky as the riggers or a very smart former owner
sealed all fasteners. The transom top trim piece of aluminum was sealed by me when I got her 10 years ago. That is often overlooked and a transom killer as the fresh water sits in
the dips of the screws and migrates down. Albury is one of the few builders who glass
the transom cap.

It`s the fresh water that kills em, not the salt.

Cheers,
GFS
