Finally......Originally planned on I.M. Mike and Suzi 300. Logistically, couldn't work it out. Shout out to NoBones for his offer and Mike at I.M. If I went with Suzuki, Mike would get it.
Ken, I owe ya a cold one!

I went with the Yamaha 300 locally. 7 hours so far. I tried the Yamaha 3 blade SS Series 17P for 2.5 hrs. It was just OK. Hooked up with Ken at PropGods and got the Powertech 15 1/2 x 16 4 blade. Results are below. I'll post some pics early next week. Happy camper so far!

Hermco bracket, engine is third hole up, two guys (~320# total), 1/2 fuel (~60 gals.)

Lowest I could plane today was low 20's kts. I'll work on that as it was kinda rough.

Nice cruise was ~ 4000 rpm
