So, I've been on the phone with Garmin to get the adapter cable numbers to find an aftermarket set on Amazon and I just lowballed an offer on a weather antenna which the seller excepted for $75 . The cables do have the audio output for satellite radio, like you mentioned. It looks like the fisherman package for 29.99 seems to be the one that I will probably get. Called the owner of the restaurant next to my rental house On Guana Harbor to see if he had some extra space on the dock… he just opened up a new restaurant down the way and said I could use the dock for the whole time I'm there! It looks like I'm just going to have my iPhone with navionics app utilizing the GPS chip as a back up to my Garmin. Oh yeah, I also found a G2 vision SD card for the entire US in Caribbean for $75. It looks like I might get a handheld VHF with the new DSC button on it.
