I don't like that setup at all. As Don says, no seacock
coupled with auto hose that is reinforced with steel. IT WILL RUST & then your screwed when it splits out at sea.
Do yourself a favor by sealing up the existing thru hull drain. Run a new bait well drain with the double wall white marine grade hose out the side of the hull.
