Repairing Side Vents
When I could find no replacement for my side vent that was cracked and with a piece of the louver missing I repaired and repainted it. There was enough of the louver shape left that I temporarily attached a bendable piece of smooth plastic to it to form a mold for marinetex strenghened with fiberglass cloth. Then sanded it lightly and painted it. Nothing ugly shows from the outside.
