Still for sale. Still $2700 for boat and trailer.
I removed the cylinder head and had it magna-fluxed and resurfaced before having the valves re-seated. New-style rocker pivots with oil grooving on all rocker arms.
I was running the boat last fall, and had a loss of power that eventually was shown to be a fuel pump problem. First mechanic I took it to said I had a blown head-gasket, which turned out not to be true, but as long as the head was off, I decided to have it serviced. I'm just glad I was there to witness the head being pulled, or I might have been taken to the cleaners on this one. (My regular mechanic retired and then passed away).
Motor has about more than 3000 hours, and runs very well, with compression readings of 148, 147, 148, 145.
Original Ride-Guide steering helm disassembled and re-built. Has original steering wheel, and steers with one finger. Bow rail removed, but bases still in place for now.
Original overhead and bulkhead carpet removed, but not replaced. Navy top, side curtains and drop curtain come with it, but need seams resewn, It does come with a new bimini top. Sits on the aluminum trailer, not the galvanized one in the pic of the stern.
