Anybody have a guess as to how much is required to do an entire Sceptre windshield? At $5/foot, that stuff ain't cheap!
I am still curious as to the purpose of these? It is to prevent metal to metal contact in the windshield frame or it is just to keep water out? |
just hides the wiring for wipers or lights. Small vinyl tubing can be put in it if the gap bothers you. I left mine out and it looks fine.
As far as the gasket amount..... way more than you think. When you get it all ready to go just give me a call and I will give you some lessons learned for installing. The glass has to be bedded as well. You will 1/8 x 1/2” foam glazing tape to do it and that is a whole nother ordeal. It took Mel and myself 40 plus hours to do it right.
