Kinda does seem that way.
I remember as a little kid there being big storms, and some erosion and the Nauset Light stairs washing away every few years, but the last ten years it does seem much more extreme.
I mean just look at Ballston Beach in Truro. It washed over in 91 during the perfect storm and not again until about five years ago, Now it washes over every winter.
