I have a original Seacraft console that I would like to do the following modification.
I want get rid of the flange that goes around the bottom of th console. I think it would give it a better modern look and also provide a little more room for the t-top I will eventually install.

Question is how best to have fixed to the floor from the inside?

Has anyone done this?
