Use the north cut, inlet has channel markers that are all orange high flyers. This year it's a pretty straight shot out into the cut, just watch the tides. I would recommend avoiding low tide if possible. We played it safe and only went out a few hours before or after high tide in our 30' Luhrs this year. We sounded it at low tide on a calm day in my father's Robalo, lowest depth was 3 ft at low tide about halfway out (low waves and just rollers that day).
