I can't imagine someone would take the time and effort to convert an outboard transom boat to an I/O. Usually it's the other way, with the addition of a bracket. One of 5 maybe a jack shafted I/O from the factory, because as mentioned above a I/O version of a 23 Sceptre was very common.
