I totally agree. Cool information. The more I get to looking to mine, I really believe mine was an outboard converted to an IO. I see it distinct line where some glass work was done. It totally resembles the cut out of an outboard motor well. Whoever did it, if this is true, did excellent work, it’s hard to even tell. Also my engine beds under the yanmar do not look anywhere near what the factory specifications were. I may never know.
