I have an original 20 SF with a 90s model Evinrude 150, the trailer that came with the boat when I bought it. It is a 2006 Continental tandem axle CTA 2044 with the optional front bunks, amongst other things. The boat is always perfect on and off the trailer, centers itself, I can launch and recover whatever the tide without getting my rear tires wet on my Chevy 1500. I have 15 to 20 300 to 500 mile trips on it and 2 at between 800 and 1000 miles. Not once did I ever question speed, maneuverability, breaking ability, control or stability. Lets just say, there have been quite a few times that I've driven it much... Faster than perhaps I should have and my only concern was the pressure I was putting on flat windshield of the boat. The day I bought the boat and trailer, one of the u-bolts on an axle came loose. Noticed it at the boat ramp and corrected it before I left the parking lot with it without any damage. Aside from that, the only thing I've done is go over the entire thing with a wrench, replace two hubs as a preventative measure and replace the winch strap. I always rinse it off very well and there's Zero rust on any part of it. It has the stainless steel Hardware upgrade, Kodiak disc brake kit upgrade and again the front bunks option. There's not much I can add to this forum seeing that much of it I've learned from here but I can share my experience, hope it helps whatever route you go.
