BUT with that said, for those of us that have the newer composite bass pro boats that are already smartcraft rigged, it's kind of a no brainer to remain with the DTS rigging. back then they didn't have 300, 350, and 400 options, only 250 and 275. who knew that 14 years later in the future, while everybody was bitching back then about how heavy they were, they would have a 300, 350, and 400 that weighs the same..... should be an obvious repower option for current composite boat needing repower, makes perfect sense to me anyway...
weight wont be the issue because it's the same. question will be whether or not the transom will fail or not with 150 more HP. We will find out one day!
