That is the key right there. There are a lot of people selling what they are calling restored but are actually just stripped and painted. You have to know what you are looking for in a restored project boat.
Restored vintage SeaCrafts always should have a new fuel tank, new decks and a full transom replacement with composites if you are looking for a lifetime boat. I have seen some wood coring rebuilds that were good but few folks can do it right. Also composite boats are lighter which help make up for heavier 4 stroke OBs.
