The problem is 650lbs on a 3ft lever.

flotation brackets have more surface area and act like a giant trim tab on the take off which limits bow rise.

without changing your bracket or notching the transom, here are a few suggestions that will help somewhat.

1. Redistribute weight. (move weight forward, lower the better)
2. Add wedges
3. Use a sternlifting prop like Mirage Plus or Rev4
4. Install a Permatrim or Cobra marine plate
