mercury props are the best. they spend more money on reasearch and development than anyone else. i would follow Moose advice above, or call ken at propgods. tell him exactly what is going on, and you want a merc prop, not the powertech because it is cheaper. he will dial you right in and best of all if not right you can do an exchange for $30 and ship prop back and keep on doing that infinitely until you are happy, but history shows he always nails it spot within 1st try or 2... it's truly amazing what kind of difference a prop can make. i would definitely go for a good stern lift prop like the rev 4. there is a new 4 blade out from merc called the bravo1 FS (Four Stroke) that is getting rave reviews. it's a labbed prop right out the box from mercury racing and those pathfinder guys are going nuts over it.... call ken and ask him about it, try one out and see what she does. i love playing with props but my wallet doesn't.
