CG, CG, CG, Sometimes over-emphasized, but not always. I'd disagree on the 20 seafari CG being a non-issue. Put too much weight in the stern, bracket an outboard, etc and that boat will fall off a plane at 15 kts+. In a little boat, that REALLY makes a difference when its rough. That holds even if you load it heavy forward (personal experience)
Mostly Moose is right. Most boats, loaded so they are close to a good CG, and they will perform just great. Even the 25 Seafari, which is sensitive to CG, performs just fine when the CG is off. It just performs much better if the CG is right.
