Its really the perfect spot to re-use that original anchor door! My switches will be mounted on the backside of the door too so they should like the lip on top to shed water. Form and function!

The vents have a pvc 90 and some pipe extending up a bit into the spaces. Theyll double as a place to route drain hoses from rodholders/cleats/cupholders etc. I holesawed the skin on the backside and took the core out, then glued in a disc of 1/8” thick or so glass just to get more thickness in the front skin for the holes.

Got a g2 150HO waiting here since before the french canadian cowards pulled the plug. Standard bracket, no integrated steering to save a few pounds. I have plans to throw an extra battery up under the big bomar hatch up front if need be... i feel like ive got enough fuel and water forward but we will see...
