I understand ! We old guys are all faced with the same dilemma .....
Old age is upon us and trying to justify getting rid of our prized possessions and not burden our relatives with what we have acquired over our life time of enjoying what we do is a big problem. One word. NO !
Keep it until you can no longer do it on your own.....
Capt. Chuck agonized over getting rid of his beloved "Shellback" 23..
Trust me I get it. My 1970 20 SF has been in my daughter and son-in-laws possession for the last 4 years, with the stipulation it will never be sold, and only to stay in the family forever. My 15 year old granddaughter loves the old "NoBones" which makes my day every time they use her.. Happy to see it gets used more than I have the will or the time to enjoy it. I can still borrow it anytime Patti & I want to...
Need I say more.
Title is signed, but still in my name, called right of survivorship.
