Terry, I think you might have the record.
Chuck-that’s an incredible run at 33 years.

My first year of ownership was 2001…. 2 1/2 decades later! My parents purchased an 18 SF (their first SeaCraft) in the late 90s based on my advice. it took me about 20 years from my first ride as a 12-year-old kid on a 20 SF in the Loxahatchee River in northern Palm Beach County to buying my first boat here on the West Coast to Florida in 2001. That ride in 1982 closed the deal for me.

I remember the Conch Cove fire as well! What a tragedy. As a kid buzzing around in my 14 foot alumacraft with 25 horse Johnson, I remember pulling up multiple times and walking around The waterfront at the burned down marina. There were 235 Evinrude engine cowlings sitting half burnt on the concrete ground right next to the water. The place smelled of burn fiberglass.
