Teak…only way to go.

About 3/8” or so. No thinner than 1/4” no thicker than 1/2” but that’s my opinion.

As far as bolsters. You can buy seadek. Or I’m having my wife who’s a serious sewer make me some. Sailrite.com has plenty vids on this. You guessed it, I’m toying with putting a strip of teak in it as decoration. I like how Monterey boats does their bolsters and upholstery on the 305ss etc. White and gray with flat and diamonds. Looks classic with a modern twist to me.
