Thanks. Over the 17 years that I have had my Yami on the boat, it has come in contact with the splash well door or even the lip of the splash well. Not to mention the cables bending. Mechanics seem to want to put the motor in the uppermost position, even when I leave word for them not to. I have sold my motor now and I wish now I would have just stored it while work on the boat is completed. Got feelers out looking for a Suzuki and they are saying 8-12 months now. The 8 months guy wants 50% down to get on the “list”. 25” transom and had to use the top bolt holes on the motor,
