Just re-did mine .The best way is to RIVET ,If You ever take it apart again take a vacation.Mine was screwed & Bolted I opted to just put new screws,I filled all the old holes on the inside on the hull (re-glassed) New bite .can't really fill or no use to ,the outer top .5200 'd the 2 after together under rail.
As far as the carpet I used rhino liner ,at the bottom I filled the space w/ foam & tapered the liner over it to the edge where the teak was.Easy to clean Will not have to replace,sprayed white then painted.
Came out nice,
Let the others advise on the HARD stuff,Deck,etc.
