Hi El Pescador.

Have you considered configuring your inboard SeaCraft
project with a 'Jack Shaft'? That way, you would be using an I/O drive (Alpha or Bravo or even Bravo III)
and would have an advantage in shallow water over the
I/B approach. I expect this would be especially attractive for use in the Bahamas! If you plan to store your new boat out of the water, the I/O stigma practically vanishes.
