Default Re: national liquidators in florida

Hey Doug-

I was down at Marine Connection Liquidators last month with some of teh classicseacraft.com crew. Marine Connection is like a Costco warehouse filled to the ceilings with boating gear.

We made the trip into a mini fishing/boat gear buying bonanza and also timed it so that we could attend the annual Dania Marine Flea Market (more good stuff but some junk too...)

Marine Connnection is kinda of an overwhelming place so be sure to give yourself at least 3-4 hours to look through everything. They have a lot of stuff and since alot of it isn't marked, you need to ask for a price.

However, with that said....most of the stuff they stock (overuns from boat builders like MAKO, Boston Whaler, etc.) cannot be found in the northeast and if you could find it up here you would certainly pay a lot more.

I could go on and on with a list of stuff they carry but I would run out of space. Make a list of the stuff you need and give them a call to see if they have what you're looking for. If you plan on flying down and taking some smaller stuff back with you on the plane...use a carry on bag for your clothes and then you can check two boxes of stuff (up to about 70lbs each). If you're driving down....take a HUGE TRUCK and/or trailer and LOTS OF MONEY! The place is pretty cool.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
