I did My gunnels w/ Rhino.(below)I left it to the experts.They can match colors $$$$ Did Mine in white,wiped down w/acetone then painted w/awlgrip .Came out really nice.Easy to clean I guess .She's still QUARANTEENED!I did it for ease of cleaning,noise,abrasion(rods).
You'll have to foam in where the deck touches the gunnel at a taper (runoff).I did not do the deck.Too slippery even though they can add non-skid,If I don't like the gunnels I can always recover it.The deck on the other hand !Whew You'd have to replace it as this stuff does not come off!!You can save $ if You pre-pare the area
before hand Sand,foam etc.
