Default Epoxy

When I started my project I purchased the West Marine Handbook to boat repair, Great reference manual. I always assumed I would use their epoxy as well. I do, sometimes but felt it necesary to point out that I have found a few local places that sell their own at a decent price.

If you need to buy more than a gallon of Epoxy, check your local boat mags. I found a place in Groton CT named LBI fiberglass and they sell all sorts of supplies in bulk, Poly resin, epoxy, gel-coat, everything at a great price, compared to west marine or boat us etc. and they give me great technical assistance. My contact there has given me great advise and tips on about every aspect of my repairs.

I am sure their are other facilities like LBI, I have also geard of RAKA? epoxy and a few others. Just wanted you guys to shop around a bit and not assume West System, although fantastic, is your only choice.

It is amazing how expensive Epoxy is and how much you need sometimes YIKES
