almost over
Just wanted to check in and post ,its been awhile, so this will be a long post, The bass and blues are thick off the Atlantic City beaches. I have been into them under the birds trolling ,jigging ,etc. for the past few weeks.Looks like it will last into Dec. Sad to say ,I have to take the Susie II out in a few weeks or Trump will start charging me daily slip rates. Its hard to believe she will be 34 years old next season .I have owned her now for the past 18 years, My cousin just gave me a trailor, so for the first time I will be able to save a bit of $ and hall her myself, I am trying to make up my mind if I want to replace the transom over the winter or not.The orig. gelcoat looks very good and there is no flex in the transom or movement when you push & pull on the lower unit when tilted up . but at 34 years old I have to see if I will open a can of worms. If I do the job myself I will keep you posted and come back to ask advice .Its not that long a winter for me as I hope to be back in the water the 1st. of April And being in retail the holidays keep me going.I will also have a booth at the Atlantic City boat show and home show again this year so before I know it will be time for spring anyway just wanted to keep in contact with my post ,,I do log on classic seacraft every few days ,,,,,,Have a great Thanksgiving Joe R. 1970 20 ft .cc. Susie II
