Default Why did I buy this stuff ???

OK all you PolyResin guys .....

Why did I buy a couple of gallons of Isothalic Resin last Fall ???

I was dusting off the supplies ...getting ready to “attack the boat” (well its cold again ) and found two gallons of Iso resin ...amongst the Vinylester resin ... BUT I cant remember why I got those two gallons ... I was thinking it was for some work I was doing in the bilge or to some of the hatches ... not real “structural” work

SO before I call the fiberglass guy ....anyone know the properties of this resin (Vinyl vs. Iso)?? ...maybe that will jar my apparently slipping memory ... I recall them suggesting it to me … as an alternative to the more expensive Vinylester that I have been using …. But for what …I have no Idea !!! Guess I was sniffing too much resin last fall !!!

Also had some gelcoat and wax additive in the garage over the winter ...the really cold winter .... do you think the temperatures did anything to them ....before I find out the hard way ???
