Default Chalky 1977 Hull. What to do?

I have a 1977 18'6 SF. I don't think the boat has been buffed in several years and is very chalky and dull looking (a little yellowish at the waterline). I am soon getting the bottom repainted and would like to have the hull shining like a diamond if possible. What products would you guys recommend I use with a high speed buffer.
